Anne Flanigan Bassi

Township Supervisor Anne Flanigan Bassi has lived in Highland Park since 1973 with her husband, Victor Bassi, and raised their two daughters here.

Professionally, Anne is a CPA with a Masters of Science in Taxation and operates a private tax practice.

Anne has served the community for decades in many roles, including Moraine Township Supervisor since 2013 and ten years as a Lake County Board Member, Lake County Forest Preserve Commissioner and Lake County Stormwater Management Commissioner. She was named Highland Park’s Humanitarian of the Year in 2014 and received the Lake County Affordable Housing Advocate of the year Award in 2013.

She currently serves as a Lake County Housing and Community Development Commissioner and is Chair of the Highland Park Hospital Community Advisory Committee.
