[Approved as submitted to electors at the Annual Meeting of Tuesday, April 14, 2009.]

The following are proceedings of the Annual Town Meeting of Moraine Township, County of Lake, State of Illinois, on the 8th day of April, 2008.

The meeting was called to order by Bryna Gamson, (Trustee and) Deputy Town Clerk, at 6:00 P.M.

The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was recited.

The list of attendees at the meeting is filed at the Township offices with the draft copy of the minutes.

Charles Barnes moved, seconded by Cynthia Plouché, that Edward Gamson serve as Moderator. Nominations were closed. Motion carried.

The oath of Moderator of the Town Meeting was given to Edward Gamson by Deputy Clerk Bryna Gamson, and he was sworn in as same.

Minutes of the Annual Meeting of April 10, 2007 were approved as written.

Supervisor Mari Barnes read the unaudited Supervisor's Statement of Financial Affairs for fiscal year April 1, 2007 through March 31, 2008, including a brief report of highlights of the year's achievements.

Other Business - none

The next Annual Town Meeting will be held Tuesday, April 14, 2009, at 6 PM in the Township office. (Motion made by Peter Koukos, second by Cynthia Plouché.)

There being no further business to conduct, Peter Koukos moved, seconded by Sheila Platt, that the meeting be adjourned at 6:08 PM. Motion carried.
