Pablo Alvarez

 Trustee Pablo Alvarez has lived in Highland Park since 2009. He and his wife, Sofia Alvarez, are raising their two daughters here.

A Highland Park High School Guidance Counselor, Pablo has been an educator for over twenty years and enjoys working with youth during their critical formative years, and is involved with the school in many capacities including HPHS Drop In Center, leading counseling groups, coaching the chess team, and advocacy work with first-generation and Spanish-speaking families.

As a deeply involved community member, Pablo’s work as a Moraine Township trustee allows him to work with families and residents most in need, especially in the area of food insecurity, emergency relief and ensuring a safety net for our most vulnerable residents.
