PANTRY PLANTS GARDEN PROJECT INSTALLED BY VOLUNTEERS
June 4, 2011 Garden Installed
Dedicated individuals and family groups came to help put in the Township's Pantry Plants Garden Project again for this season. New this year is the participation of families caring for their own plots jointly with other families, recruited by the Lake County Health Department's North Shore Clinic in Highland Park. We're all interested in improving nutrition among our residents! Remaining land, about half the tract, is being maintained by volunteers contributing the produce to our Food Pantry. Thanks to all of those pictured, and those we missed photographing!
