Diana Guerrero
Diana J. Guerrero grew up in Chicago’s Pilsen neighborhood and has been a resident of Highland Park since 2016. She serves as the Communications & Development Manager at the Highwood Library & Community Center, where she leads marketing, communications, and grant development. With over 15 years of experience in marketing and a Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts from Lake Forest College, Diana is deeply committed to community engagement and public service.
Beyond her professional role, Diana has been an active member of the Highwood community. She previously served on the Board of Trustees for the Highwood Library, advocating for innovative programming and expansion efforts that uplift underserved families. Diana is also involved in the Northwood Middle School Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) and serves on the Stewardship, Events, & Development Committee and the Finance Council of Christ Our Hope Parish. She was recently installed as Public Relations Chair on the board of Coalición Latinos Unidos de Lake County.
In recognition of her contributions, Diana was honored as a Wintrust Latinx Community Leader in September 2024 and received a Certificate of Achievement acknowledging her dedication to volunteerism and community advancement from Coalición Latinos Unidos de Lake County in November 2023. Diana is grateful for the opportunity to serve the township and looks forward to working with her fellow board members to strengthen community programs and services for all residents.
