MORAINE TOWNSHIP GRANT PROGRAM

2026 Grant Application deadline February 1, 2026

About Moraine Township’s Grant Program

Moraine Township administers funds to provide responsive, efficient and compassionate services and support for residents in need.

Annual grants are made to a variety of nonprofit agencies providing non-sectarian programs or services for the benefit of people residing and/or working in Moraine Township. Programs funded must complement the mission of, but not duplicate services provided by, Moraine Township. Moraine Township Grant Program gives special priority to agencies helping the Township provide a safety net for its most vulnerable and economically disadvantaged residents, including services for elderly, youth, and residents with disabilities. Agencies chiefly supported by taxpayer dollars or otherwise affiliated with a taxing body are not eligible.

A volunteer Citizen Grant Advisory Committee recommends awards annually, and these are voted upon, in April or May, by Moraine Township Board of Trustees.

In 2025, the Township awarded $175,000 in grants. funding support cannot be presumed from year to year.

Citizen Grant Advisory Committee

Citizen Grant Advisory Committee members, appointed by the Township Supervisor, review applications and make funding recommendations to the Board of Trustees.

Advisory committee members bring a wide variety of diverse experience and community involvement and represent a cross-section of the demographics of the Township. Joining them as liaisons are three elected members of Moraine Township Board.
